Associate Attorney - Immigration and Criminal Defense Arabic or Spanish Required

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Royal Oak, MI, to handle immigration and criminal defense cases. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week. Duties Meet with clients in person and remotely. Handle immigration matters before USCIS, EOIR, and federal courts. Manage criminal cases in Michigan district and circuit courts. Research laws, draft filings, and develop case strategies. Communicate with clients in Arabic or Spanish. Coordinate cases across immigration, criminal, family, and business law. Appear in court as required. Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and team members. Requirements License to practice law in Michigan. 2-5 years of legal experience. Fluency in Arabic or Spanish. Interest in immigration and criminal defense. Ability to manage a caseload and communicate effectively. Commitment to serving immigrant communities. Proficiency in technology and AI. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Michigan. Skills Strong communication skills. Client management. Legal research and drafting. Case strategy development.
