Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at New Horizons Mental Health Center, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive therapy services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting family therapy sessions that focus on improving communication and resolving conflicts among family members.
\n
• Meeting with couples together while also providing individual sessions, offering insights and tailored strategies for each family member.
\n
• Specializing in issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and blended family dynamics.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic strategies tailored to your clients' unique needs while maintaining a warm and supportive environment.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and effective treatment planning.
\n
• Staying up to date with the latest research and advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including couples, families, and individuals. Our practice focuses on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

• Alcohol and substance abuse prevention and recovery.
\n
• Adapting to separation and divorce, including the associated emotional and psychological challenges.
\n
• Addressing conflicts within families, whether they involve siblings, parents, or blended families.

• Helping clients navigate life changes, including job stress and medical issues.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Massachusetts.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
