Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand each patient's unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with established best practices.

• Utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to foster client healing and recovery.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA and other relevant regulations, ensuring that patient information is both secure and accessible to the treatment team.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to create a comprehensive and coordinated care plan that addresses both mental health and substance use concerns.

• Participating in peer reviews and case consultations to continuously enhance the quality of therapeutic interventions provided within the center.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment choices, and support resources available in the community, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health to integrate new insights into your clinical practice.

• Managing a caseload of patients effectively, ensuring ongoing assessment and adjustment of treatment goals based on individual progress and changing needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will largely focus on individuals undergoing detoxification from addictive substances, who may also experience co-occurring mental health disorders. You will employ compassionate and culturally competent strategies to support clients from diverse backgrounds, facilitating recovery in a respectful and dignified manner. Your work will directly impact their mental health outcomes and support them in finding stability and hope on their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of three years of experience providing psychotherapy services in a clinical environment.

• Proficient knowledge of solution-based therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions for addiction and mental health.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect empathically with patients and collaborate effectively within a team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
