Job OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our radiology department in a full-time role. The ideal candidate will review patient histories and physician orders, educate patients regarding procedures, and facilitate a smooth imaging process to ensure the highest level of care and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesReview patient history and physician orders.Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to promote understanding and cooperation.Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as per medical orders, within the scope of practice.Continuously monitor patient conditions and report/respond to changes in status appropriately.Prepare imaging equipment and necessary supplies.Implement safety standards and conduct quality control procedures on imaging equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions; report issues as necessary.Position patients and perform imaging procedures efficiently.Analyze imaging results and identify any quality issues, taking corrective actions as needed.Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.QualificationsMust possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.ARRT certification in Radiography (RD) and Computed Tomography (CT) is required.Associate degree in Radiologic Technology; completion of a CT technology certificate program is preferred.Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Radiology and CT.Willingness to float between X-ray and CT departments as needed.Work ScheduleThis position requires availability for four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday.LocationCity, State: [Insert City, State]Additional InformationWe welcome all qualified candidates to apply and encourage a collaborative and supportive work environment.
