Role Description We are seeking an exceptional Litigation Paralegal to join our growing litigation team. This position will primarily support our Employment Law practice. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment, takes ownership of their cases, and enjoys being an indispensable part of a high-performing legal team. We are looking for someone seeking a long-term home— not just their next job. You will work directly with experienced attorneys handling employment law litigation from inception through trial or settlement. This is a full-time in office position based in Cranston, Rhode Island, with flexibility for remote work, when appropriate (and after a successful onboarding). Responsibilities Manage litigation files from intake through resolution. Draft, proofread, and finalize pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and court filings. Coordinate federal and state electronic filings. Maintain litigation calendars and ensure all deadlines are met. Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, medical providers, and court personnel. Organize case files, exhibits, and evidence. Assist attorneys with discovery, document review, factual investigation, and trial preparation. Help proactively move cases forward rather than simply responding to deadlines. Continue to improve litigation systems with guidance of senior attorneys. Qualifications Required Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures. Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other litigation documents. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Preferred Employment law and/or complex litigation experience. Experience with electronic filing in Rhode Island and Massachusetts federal and state courts. Associate's or Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate. $70,000–$100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
