Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Tranquility Therapy Center, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health statuses using standardized tools and evidence-based practices. Creating personalized therapeutic plans that outline strategies and interventions tailored to each client's unique situations and challenges. Delivering individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate a culturally sensitive approach, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, and eating disorders. Utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client progress, treatment plans, and any necessary referrals to additional healthcare providers. Regularly reviewing and adjusting therapy approaches based on client feedback and progress, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in treatment. Engaging in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and networking events within the field. Patient Population / Client Focus Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals struggling with various mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, substance abuse, and relationship conflicts. A foundational commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity will guide your interactions, ensuring every client feels understood and valued. Qualifications To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are essential: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. A current and valid state license as Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or an equivalent credential. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or psychotherapy. A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Preferred Experience While not essential, the following experiences would be considered advantageous: Experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy to a diverse clientele. Familiarity with telehealth tools and an aptitude for adapting in-person methodologies to virtual settings. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and experience in high-pressure environments. Compensation and Benefits Tranquility Therapy Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 – 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
