Staff Accountant - Entry Level Industry: Retail, Consumer Goods Location: Mahwah, NJ Salary: $50-65K plus bonus Onsite - 5 days in office Staff Accountant role with an expanding company and leader in the region! 0-3 years’ experience in accounting. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with the month-end close and set up new accounts Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statements, highlighting variances Maintain accounting records for accounts payable, fixed assets and leases. Assist outside auditors at year-end Prepare monthly inventory reporting Maintain financial documents and related supporting documents Identify modifications and improvements to systems Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. 0-3 years’ experience in public or private accounting.
