Registered Nurse RN

Emerald Crest of Minnetonka, a Cassia community, has a rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN)to join our team at our Memory Care! This is a great opportunity to grow your career! In this role, you will help the DHS lead nursing aides in providing exceptional resident care to our residents. In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $7,000 Bonus!   

You will be working in a communal home setting which provides a natural, home-like setting to encourage engagement and reduces isolation among residents. Each home consists of 12-15 suites arranged around a warm, friendly, central living and kitchen area.

Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position

Shift Available: Day Shift Monday - Friday

Wage Range: $85,000 - $90,000 annually 

Bonus: $7,000

Location: 13401 Lake Street Extension, Minnetonka, MN 55305

Registered Nurse Responsibilities: 

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.  
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Supervises work performed by Nursing Aides.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Registered Nurse Qualifications: 

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or a related senior care setting, OR,
• Minimum 2–3 years of general RN clinical experience (acute care, long-term care, med-surg, or similar) for candidates without direct AL/Memory Care background
• Strong clinical foundation with sound nursing judgment
• Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new environments and workflows
• Leadership potential and ability to take ownership of resident outcomes
• Resident-centered approach to care
