What You’ll Do: This is a remote, phone-based sales role for experienced pros ready to take ownership in a dynamic environment. You’ll start with a 6-12 month training period (depending on how fast you adapt), then build and manage your own book of business, delivering ingredient solutions to manufacturers across multiple industries. Prospect & Win: Build your pipeline through proactive outreach—cold calling, web research, and creative lead generation (like spotting brands in stores). While we provide some leads from trade shows, most of your success will come from your own efforts. Aim for $100,000 in gross profit your first year to start earning commissions—consistent prospecting is the key. Even our veteran reps keep chasing new clients—it’s how you grow here. Manage & Expand: Once you land a customer, nurture the relationship, and uncover new opportunities to supply ingredients. Turn initial wins into steady, long-term business. Source & Negotiate: Go beyond selling—source ingredients from suppliers, negotiate smart deals, and balance value for foodguys and your clients. You’ll handle both sides of the transaction with confidence. What You Bring: 3+ Years of Sales Experience: Recent sales roles required—show us your track record. Business-Building Skills: Proven ability to prospect, close, and grow client accounts. Self-Starter Mindset: You take initiative and own your outcomes. Results Focus: Comfortable in a commission-driven, high-performance setting. Strong Communication: Clear, professional, and persuasive on the phone. Problem-Solving Grit: You tackle challenges head-on and find a way to win. Base Salary: $100,000 to start, with commissions unlocking after training (6-12 months, based on your pace).
