Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact in student lives in the New Orleans area by providing essential psychological services within a dynamic school environment. This onsite, contract opportunity is perfect for skilled School Psychologists interested in supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work full-time, Monday through Friday, following the school calendar, and collaborate with a supportive community of educators and professionals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Louisiana Department of Education School Psychologist Certification (mandatory)
  • Experience working in K-12 schools as a School Psychologist
  • Ability to handle varying caseloads and adapt to diverse school assignments
  • Must pass District-mandated drug screening and fingerprint background checks, as well as agency credentialing
  • Strong interpersonal skills for consultation, assessment, and collaboration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies for students
  • Participate in IEP meetings, serving as a resource for staff and families
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers to foster student success
  • Contribute to data-based decision making and evidence-based practices
