Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Active, valid Louisiana Department of Education School Psychologist Certification required
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and providing intervention strategies
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Must complete district drug screening and fingerprinting, in addition to standard credentialing requirements

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students (caseload and specific age groups to be determined)
• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral interventions
• Support crisis intervention, problem-solving, and student counseling as needed
• Facilitate meetings and provide consultation to staff and families on student needs
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with district policies
• Adapt to schedules and needs as assigned throughout the school year (up to full-time, 35 hours/week with a standard school calendar)
