MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

We are seeking a qualified candidate with the following minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) years of experience in higher education administration, academic affairs, institutional effectiveness, curriculum management, project management, accreditation support, planning and evaluation, or related areas. N ote: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

(In addition to the minimum qualifications) The ideal candidate will possess the following preferred qualifications: Master’s degree and at least five years of professional experience in higher education administration, academic affairs, institutional effectiveness, curriculum management, accreditation support, or related fields. Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional institutional projects and managing complex processes involving multiple stakeholders. Experience working with Banner, Degree Works, CourseLeaf, Ad Astra, academic catalogs, accreditation processes, or institutional data systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Curriculum & Academic Systems Coordinator provides operational leadership for academic systems processes by coordinating curriculum actions, managing academic information systems, maintaining academic credential records, supporting accreditation readiness activities, and ensuring alignment and synchronization across institutional departments, academic systems, and student-facing resources throughout the lifecycle of academic credentials. The position serves as the institution’s central coordinator for curriculum processes, academic systems synchronization, catalog management, academic credential lifecycle management, and programmatic accreditation readiness activities. The position collaborates with stakeholders across the institution to ensure alignment, accuracy, and sustainability of academic governance processes. The position serves as a process manager and institutional integrator rather than the technical administrator of academic software systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

CURRICULUM PROCESS COORDINATION

Coordinate curriculum proposals from initiation through implementation. Coordinate Curriculum Committee activities, track internal and external approvals, maintain curriculum records, and ensure approved changes are communicated, implemented, and published.

COURSELEAF CATALOG MANAGEMENT

Manage the institutional catalog and the CourseLeaf catalog management process. Coordinate catalog cycles, publication schedules, and departmental contributions to ensure approved changes are accurately reflected and student-facing information remains current.

ACADEMIC SYSTEMS COORDINATION

Coordinate academic data updates resulting from approved curriculum and policy changes within institutional academic systems, including Banner, Degree Works, and Ad Astra Pathways. Responsibilities are limited to academic updates associated with approved curriculum and policy changes and do not include overall system administration, software configuration, security management, technical support, registration processes, scheduling operations, or software maintenance.

CROSS-DEPARTMENTAL SYNCHRONIZATION

Coordinate implementation activities associated with approved curriculum and policy changes. Serve as the central point of coordination among institutional departments to ensure required actions are completed and information remains synchronized across systems and student-facing resources.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIAL MASTER INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Maintain the Academic Credential Master Inventory as the institution’s official system of record for all academic credentials. Track credential approvals, implementation milestones, notifications, modifications, closures, teach-out activities, and historical records throughout the credential lifecycle.

PROGRAMMATIC ACCREDITATION READINESS COORDINATION

Coordinate processes that support programmatic accreditation and maintain a continuous readiness model across the institution. Monitor accreditation activities, timelines, documentation, and action items to ensure requirements are completed throughout accreditation cycles.

COMMUNICATION AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Coordinate communications related to curriculum, catalog, accreditation, and academic systems processes. Prepare status updates and process documentation while promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary will be commensurate with education and work experience.
