The RCM Billing Representative is an entry-level to intermediate individual contributor responsible for accurate and timely invoice creation and claim submission for home infusion services. This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am – 7:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Primary Responsibilities: Review open delivery tickets and prioritize daily billing activities Generate and submit accurate invoices and claims in a timely manner Process secondary insurance and copay assistance claims after primary adjudication Identify billing discrepancies and elevate trends to leadership Complete account correction requests within established SLAs Resolve payer rejections for clean claim resolution Adhere to payer, regulatory, and internal billing guidelines Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders Demonstrate alignment with organizational mission, values, and culture in all interactions Perform additional duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma OR GED Must be 18 years of age OR older 1+ years of medical billing, collections, OR accounts receivable experience Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work full time Monday - Friday. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, NDC, HIPAA Experience with explanation of benefits Knowledge / experience with pharmacy / medical terminology Knowledge / experience with multi-claim databases and OR clearing house platforms Telecommuting Requirements: Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
