Join our pastry team in a new & exciting catering/upscale events concept by Chef Daniel Boulud- Cuisine Boulud NYC! We are seeking passionate & professional Pastry Cooks who are looking to gain new skills, face thrilling challenges and nurture professional growth. If you have a positive attitude and a desire to learn in a fast paced environment with some of NYC’s leading Chefs, this position is for you! Candidates should be hospitality-minded, detail oriented & focused on personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- need to have basic pastry knowledge with desire to learn new skills & techniques / follow directions accordingly
- have the ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- be responsible for the production and organization of the pastry station. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the production of desserts, rotation and usage of the products, going to & executing onsite/offsite events and professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
- This position is for event catering & requires flexible schedule, as schedules are based on weekly events booked (including a combination of daytime shifts, evening shifts & weekends)
Positions require:
- 2+ Year Pastry Cook experience, fine dining a plus
- Full availability - daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
