Distribution Sales Specialist

This position is an entry level position within our Regional Sales Fulfillment Team responsible for increasing the volume and velocity of PIDSA Industrial component sales through strategic distributor(s) resulting in above profitable sales growth. Candidate needs to be currently located in the Dallas Tx area.

Responsibilities include:

• Increasing sales revenue (volume and velocity) at assigned distributors
• Managing product mix
• Managing efficient inventory levels
• Managing comprehensive distribution account management
• Managing corporate HQ and all branch locations
• Managing, maintaining, and controlling the distributor activities
• Analytical analysis of market, competitor, DTAM, POS, POP, pricing, inventory, etc
• Product level analysis
• Branch level analysis
• Managing distributor promotions programs and special product incentive plans
• Managing all Panasonic staff activities at distribution sites
• Coordinating with Regional Sales Manager to support goals above
• Increasing customer satisfaction
• Forecasting FY budget and MTP
• Accurate sales forecast
• CRM reporting
• Working with sales to follow up on specific focus opportunities
• Marcom / COOP
• Working with marketing to create an annual plan/schedule
• Financial assurance collection ratio in line with PIC goals
• Minimizing credit losses
• Minimizing inventory losses
• Maximizing profits

Qualifications include:

• Education & Experience: Entry level 1~ 2 years' experience in electronics components industry preferred
• Understanding of distribution sales, sales discipline and negotiation capabilities
• Understanding of managing through outside sales channels (distributor/rep)
• Strong analytical skills

The wage range of $70,000 - $77,000 is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
