Job Description

Position Details:

Location: Mossville, IL (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Duration: 12-month contract
Pay Rate: $20/hour

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required (Associate's degree preferred)
0–2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, receiving, or related fields
Basic computer skills
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment
Self-motivated and able to work effectively on a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Excel experience
Caterpillar systems knowledge
Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, inventory, or logistics operations

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the ordering, tracking, receiving, storing, and shipping of materials for engineering teams
Support inbound and outbound material flow for engine testing and laboratory operations
Prepare shipments and order materials from other Caterpillar facilities
Monitor production schedules, inventory, and material movement
Record production and inventory data accurately
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and logistics team members to ensure materials are available when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and support warehouse operations
