About the Role Job Title: Biomedical Scientist Location: Ramsay Rivers Hospital, Hertfordshire, CM21 0HH Salary: Up to £43,700 DOE We are seeking an experienced, HCPC‑registered Biomedical Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team at Ramsay Rivers Hospital. The role involves shift work, including out‑of‑hours coverage 24/7, with additional overtime payments. Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a busy blood sciences laboratory covering haematology, coagulation, biochemistry, and blood transfusion. Further training may be offered if a candidate is not fully experienced across all disciplines. Key Responsibilities Perform and validate laboratory tests using automated and manual techniques. Interpret results, ensure quality assurance and comply with national guidelines. Participate in shift rotations, covering out‑of‑hours and weekend duties. Maintain laboratory documentation and audit records. Support the multidisciplinary team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist. At least one year of experience in a blood sciences laboratory. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
