The role will primarily take place in a remote setting, with the opportunity to connect with students through our outpatient office as needed. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend duties to ensure comprehensive mental health support services are available. On-call availability may be required for emergencies, allowing you to respond swiftly to pressing mental health situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand each student’s unique circumstances, including personal histories and presenting challenges.

• Collaborate with students to create individualized treatment plans that target mental health concerns while encouraging personal growth and successful integration within the school community.

• Provide engaging therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches tailored to a diverse client base.

• Work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurse practitioners to ensure coordinated care that takes into account various aspects of student health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working with a diverse population of students facing a variety of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. As a member of our Mental Health Team, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between mental health treatment and education, helping students navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Virginia.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally within an educational or mental health context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
