Maintenance Tech

Job TitleResponsible for performing a variety of electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs on the Center's facilities equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and Quality Assurance inspections under the direct supervision of the Director of Plant Operations.Primary FunctionsPerforms preventative maintenance on the HVAC, Laundry, Dietary and facility equipment and records all pertinent information on the appropriate logs.Performs maintenance and electrical repairs on the chilled water system, boilers, heaters, compressors, refrigeration, laundry and dietary equipment.Completes routine and preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner.Understands and complies with all procedures and regulations as related to Fire, Safety, OSHA and Disaster programs.Adheres to proper safety procedures while operating, repairing or utilizing all facility equipment.Communicates in an effective and courteous manner with all residents, facility personnel and visitors.Maintains an available schedule on off-duty hours for on-call and emergency situations.Performs other related duties as required.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications (Education and/or Experience)High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsNo License requiredBenefits:403(b)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insuranceThis position requires a background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
