Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to create tailored treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and state laws, ensuring all documentation is timely and thorough.

• Engage and educate family members or significant others in the treatment process, promoting a holistic approach to therapy.

• Develop and nurture professional relationships with colleagues, including social workers, psychologists, and support staff, to foster a collaborative care environment.

• Act as an advocate for clients in crisis situations, employing de-escalation techniques to manage urgent mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working primarily with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflicts. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience in crisis intervention, teletherapy, or community mental health settings will be given preference. A background in trauma-informed care or work with diverse populations is advantageous.
