Clinical Operations Manager

A Client of Insight Global | Wisconsin (Multiple Locations) A client of Insight Global is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager to provide leadership across residential, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) behavioral health services. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed behavioral health professional who enjoys balancing clinical supervision with operational leadership while helping patients receive high-quality, compassionate care. In this role, you'll spend roughly half of your time supporting clinicians through supervision, coaching, and professional development, while also leading daily program operations, driving performance improvements, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and organizational leadership in a highly collaborative environment focused on growth and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Provide clinical supervision for licensed and pre-licensed clinicians through individual and group supervision sessions. Coach, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a positive, accountable team culture. Conduct performance evaluations, employee development discussions, and corrective action when needed. Lead daily operations to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered behavioral health services. Monitor program performance, patient access, census, and operational metrics to drive quality improvements. Support implementation of new initiatives, policies, and organizational changes. Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and documentation standards. Partner with leadership on staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and program growth strategies. Participate in patient safety, crisis management, and quality improvement initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, payers, and community partners. Required Qualifications Active Wisconsin independent clinical licensure as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Master's degree in a behavioral health-related field. Ability to provide clinical supervision and approve supervision hours. Previous clinical supervision experience. Experience leading teams, managing performance, and supporting employee development. Behavioral health experience in a clinical setting. Knowledge of: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Experience implementing policies, coaching staff, and handling performance management responsibilities. Comfortable working fully onsite. Ability to occasionally support evening responsibilities. For the Oconomowoc location, willingness to participate in an on-call and weekend supervision rotation. Preferred Qualifications Independent Clinical Supervisor (ICS) certification. Substance Use Disorder certifications such as SAC or CSAC. Experience with Workday, Microsoft Office, EMR systems, or clinical documentation platforms. Experience building teams, developing programs, or leading organizations through growth and change.
