The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, equipped with modern therapy equipment and resources. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the delivery of physical therapy services aimed at restoring and enhancing muscle function and mobility in collaboration with clients.
• Assess and evaluate each client's physical condition through diagnostic tests and measurements to inform individualized care plans.
• Implement manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, guiding clients through comprehensive rehabilitation protocols.
• Monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure compliance with established care plans and adherence to practice standards.
• Engage in interdisciplinary case conferences to discuss treatment plans and patient progress with team members.
• Prepare and maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Advise and instruct clients and families on effective therapeutic techniques and the proper use of prescribed physical therapy devices.
• Stay current with industry regulations, maintaining compliance with federal and state standards in all aspects of practice.
• Complete administrative tasks such as submitting documentation and clinical orders promptly, in line with branch policy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will provide care primarily to a diverse population, including elderly clients recovering from surgery, individuals managing chronic illnesses, and patients seeking to regain mobility and strength after injury. Your work will help clients navigate rehabilitation journeys tailored to their unique needs and capabilities, ultimately promoting their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and current Physical Therapist license in good standing within the state of New York.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise, with the ability to conduct comprehensive physical evaluations and create effective treatment plans.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in an acute care or home health setting.
• Experience using healthcare documentation systems and electronic health records.
• A proven track record of effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and motivate clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges between USD 90,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
