Step into a vital support role this school year as a Paraprofessional, providing flexible assistance to students and classrooms based on changing needs. This contract opportunity runs through May 26, 2027, and offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule (approximately 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, 35 hours a week, up to 37.5), ideal for those seeking steady and meaningful work in a school environment.

In this floating paraeducator position, your initial focus includes supporting a kindergarten student at Lincoln Elementary who receives intensive learning support services, with behavioral challenges such as elopement and disruptive classroom behaviors. As the year progresses, you may assist in an Autism Support classroom or with a high school student in the Life Skills program who participates in both specialized and mainstream settings, including off-campus transition activities. This flexible assignment ensures each day brings new opportunities to collaborate with faculty and positively impact student development.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience as a school paraprofessional working with preK–12 students
• Must meet Pennsylvania paraprofessional requirements: either certified, hold 48+ college credits, or possess an associate degree or higher; otherwise, must obtain para certification within 60 days of hire
• Strong commitment to supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Adaptable approach—willing to float across various classrooms, not a 1:1 PCA position
