This position is responsible for various accounting duties including general ledger duties such as monthly journal entries and reconciliations of accounts. The Staff Accountant tracks cash flow, administers corporate credit cards, and handles representative payee duties for children supported by LifeScape.

Here are some of the unique job duties that are a part of this position:

• Recording journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing annual audit workpapers as assigned
• Tracking cash flow and working with the billing department on daily cash deposits
• Serving as the primary contact for corporate credit cards and handling many credit card related tasks
• Recording and tracking funds received by children supported by LifeScape
• Processing weekly check runs for the foundation, making sure invoices are paid by due dates and are coded to correct general ledger accounts, and sales tax is handled appropriately
• Reviewing employee expense reimbursement requests prior to reimbursement
• Completing special projects as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience

Two- year college degree in Business or Finance required. Minimum of two years' experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Excell is required.
