Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of health histories
• Aid in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently transitioning surgical instruments during operations
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
