Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments with confidence during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgery

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
