Quality Assurance Tech

Raw Seafoods is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone with food manufacturing QA experience, and seafood experience is strongly preferred.

The QA Technician helps ensure all seafood products meet company, customer, food safety, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Inspect incoming seafood products for quality, safety, and specifications
• Perform production floor quality checks and complete required paperwork
• Conduct finished product checks, label reviews, and organoleptic testing
• Monitor GMPs, food safety practices, allergens, and traceability
• Complete swabs, calibrations, QA logs, and inbound/outbound reports
• Identify and report product or process concerns to QA leadership
• Support USDA, USDC, FDA, BRC, and internal food safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• Previous QA/QC experience in food manufacturing required
• Seafood processing or seafood QA experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety, allergens, labeling, and traceability
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced production environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Flexible schedule, including possible weekends, early mornings, or late nights

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in cold production areas
