In this high visibility and high impact role, you will make data-driven recommendations to guide the pricing of our insurance product suite and drive profitable growth of the company. If you're eager to be a part of an exciting industry disruptor, then this opportunity is perfect for you!What You'll Do:Build and maintain rate indication tool for insurance pricing and actuarial reportingAssist in the creation of state filing materialsCreate and refine frameworks and dashboards to monitor, analyze, and report on historical performanceConduct analyses, generate insights, and translate them to strategic or tactical recommendationsCollaborate with NEXT's insurance product management and filings teams to take pricing action and drive profitable growthBe an integral part of the actuarial community, and promulgate best practicesDedication to the Casualty Actuarial Societies' accreditation exam process with a goal of obtaining your ACAS and FCASWhat We Need:BA/BS in actuarial science, statistics, or a quantitative discipline1+ years of experience in actuarial roles/internship, or completion of a minimum of two CAS examinations (excluding UEC credit)Technical proficiency in MS Office (primarily Excel) and SQLExperience with AI tools and processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate ambiguous or strategic business challengesCollaborative mindset with the ability to work independentlyUnstoppable Qualities:Familiarity with R or Python is a plusBackground in Small Business insurance or General Liability insuranceNote on Fraudulent Recruiting We have become aware that there may be fraudulent recruiting attempts being made by people posing as representatives of ERGO NEXT Insurance. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ERGO NEXT employees are also potentially eligible for our annual performance-based incentive program, in addition to our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.US annual base salary range for this full-time position:$75,000 - $107,000 USDDon't meet every single requirement?
