Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Strong computer proficiency required, including daily use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems. Basic math and data entry skills required. Professional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, procurement, purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, or administrative support preferred. Experience resolving invoice discrepancies, purchase order issues, and vendor inquiries preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to respond quickly and professionally to customer requests while maintaining positive vendor and client relationships. Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to sit and work on a computer for extended periods throughout the day. Occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds. Must wear steel-toe shoes and safety eyewear while in designated customer or warehouse areas. Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment with possible exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise.

This is an on-site, in-person position and cannot be performed remotely.

Job Duties

Serve as the primary customer service contact within the storeroom, providing exceptional support to customers and suppliers. Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inventory replenishment requests, and procurement transactions. Monitor order status, expedite deliveries, and communicate updates to customers and vendors. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, accounts payable issues, and order exceptions. Coordinate vendor communications, product sourcing, returns, and inventory-related inquiries. Review inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations to maintain product availability. Generate reports, track KPIs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain accurate records. Follow all customer safety requirements, standard operating procedures, and workplace policies.
