Flight Line Supervisor - Level 3

You will be the Flight Line Supervisor - Level 3 for the Flight Line Operations team which is responsible for supervising avionics crews, conducting ground checks, and ensuring safe, on‑schedule flight‑line activities. What You Will Be Doing As the Flight Line Supervisor - Level 3 you will be responsible for leading represented avionics technicians and managing daily flight‑line operations. Your responsibilities will include: Supervise avionics crews performing systems testing, ground checks, and flight operations, adjusting work assignments to meet tactical and strategic goals. Ensure tasks are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established procedures and work plans. Conduct safety audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions in partnership with Flight Line Operations leadership. Monitor Clean As You Go compliance, tool control, and complete end‑of‑shift shutdown processes. Review training reports, coordinate with training representatives, and maintain the required mix of certifications across the team. Basic Qualifications Avionics technical experience, including production or manufacturing experience. Previous supervisory experience or experience leading others. Flight Line experience. Desired Skills Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education. Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics systems. Ability to maintain adherence to all established procedures and successfully pass all audits. Attributes of a strong leader and effective communicator. Positive attitude and good temperament. Highly motivated and willing to drive change. Requires minimal oversight. Willing to work significant overtime on any shift which may include rotating assignments on weekends. Strong computer and organizational skills. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret.
