Jail Information System Project Resource

This resource will provide services for Jail Information System Project. The resource will work directly with the project manager, Sheriff Office stakeholders, and the procurement office to gather requirements, assist in the information gathering, and complete documentation (as needed) during the procurement lifecycle.

Typical deliverables include:

• Researching and understanding the scope and business objective of the JISR project.
• Identifying stakeholders needed to assist in the requirements elicitation process.
• Working with stakeholders to gather requirements for the JISR project.
• Providing documented requirements for various functions including Position Management, Manage Seniority Ranks, Managing of Staff Demographics, Staff Assignment History, Manage Evaluations and Tracking, Manage Shifts, Record Attendance, Absence and Leave Management, Issue Equipment, Manage Training, Compliance, Injury Claims and Prevention, integration with the finance application, Generate Dashboards and Reports, Generate Audit logs.
• Working with the Sheriff Office and project manager to perform gap analysis on potential vendor solutions and document the results.
• Completing procurement documentation as assigned.
• Providing knowledge transfer to County resources as needed.

Required skills and abilities include:

• Two or more years of experience as a senior business system analyst working on large scale projects.
• Experience working in the Public, Safety, and Justice domain.
• Strong leadership ability to influence and guide business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of the business analysis framework, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Expertise in elicitation and collaboration.
• Expertise in requirements lifecycle management.
• Expertise in strategy analysis.
• Expertise in requirements analysis and design definition.
• Expertise in solution evaluation.
• Excellent use of BA tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

• Experience working with MSSQL; querying, reports.
• Experience creating SLQ reports.
• Experience working with PowerBI.
