Project Coordinator

Salary: Competitive, based on experience Employment: Full-Time The Opportunity: An established ENR Top 400 contractor is looking for a Project Coordinator to join its Civil & Environmental Division, supporting the delivery of major water and wastewater treatment projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction project management, working alongside experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers and Superintendents while gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle. You don't need to be an experienced Project Manager. We're interested in people with strong organisational skills, construction knowledge and the ambition to develop. What You'll Be Doing: As a Project Coordinator, you'll help keep projects organised, documented and moving forward, working closely with the Project Management and Field teams. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting Project Managers with the day-to-day coordination of water and wastewater construction projects. Maintaining project documentation, records and correspondence. Tracking project schedules, milestones and deliverables. Assisting with project reporting, cost tracking and forecasting. Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, engineers and other project stakeholders. Preparing, tracking and maintaining submittals, RFIs, material approvals and project documentation . Assisting with purchase orders, subcontract agreements and procurement activities. Tracking material and equipment deliveries to help ensure projects stay on schedule. Reviewing and processing vendor and subcontractor invoices. Assisting with change order documentation and tracking.Maintaining project files, drawings, specifications and other construction records. Supporting project meetings and distributing meeting minutes and action items. Helping Project Managers and Superintendents monitor project progress and outstanding items. Communicating with field teams to ensure information is shared accurately and efficiently. Assisting with project closeout documentation and final records. Learning and developing your understanding of construction contracts, project costs, scheduling and project controls. Supporting a strong safety culture and ensuring company policies are followed. What We're Looking For: We're looking for an organised and motivated individual who wants to develop a career in construction project management . You may already be working as a: Project Administrator Document Controller Junior Project Manager Experience within water, wastewater, civil, environmental or general construction would be highly beneficial, but we're also open to candidates with relevant construction or engineering experience who are looking to move into project coordination. You'll ideally have: 1-3+ years' experience in construction, engineering or a project coordination environment. Good understanding of construction processes and project documentation. Strong organisational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Good communication skills and the confidence to work with project teams, subcontractors, vendors and clients. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook . Experience with construction/project management software such as Procore would be beneficial. Exposure to Primavera P6, scheduling software or project controls would be advantageous but is not essential . The ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications and project documentation. A willingness to learn and develop within a project management environment. A 4-year engineering, construction management or related degree would be beneficial, but relevant practical experience will also be considered . A valid, unrestricted driver's license. The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be 18 years of age or older . Must be legally authorised to work in the United States . Why This Opportunity?
