About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Sales to help lead and grow our expanding new-home sales organization. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our sales structure over the next several months.
This is a highly hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, working alongside sales agents, driving performance, and helping build a high-performing sales organization.
What You'll Do
You will work closely with our community sales teams to maximize sales performance and support continued growth. Responsibilities will include:
- Work alongside Sales Agents in the model and provide hands-on coaching and support.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Sales Agents to improve sales skills, customer experience, and overall performance.
- Walk through and manage sales backlog, helping agents effectively move prospects through the sales process.
- Monitor community-level sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the hiring, onboarding, development, and growth of additional Sales Agents as our communities expand.
- Partner with leadership and field teams to ensure sales goals and community objectives are achieved.
- Provide accountability, motivation, and ongoing performance feedback to the sales team.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is an experienced new-home sales leader who understands the pace, accountability, and customer-driven nature of residential new-home sales.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Sales Manager experience preferred.
- Strong background in new-home sales.
- Proven leadership and coaching experience.
- Experience managing Sales Agents and community-level sales performance.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze sales performance and take action to improve results.
- Self-motivated, hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of accountability.
- Ability to travel between communities as needed.
