Payroll Administrator

Summary: The Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring that all Pack Members within the organization are paid accurately and on time. This includes full-cycle payroll processing for over 12,000 employees across multiple states, as well as maintaining and updating payroll procedures.Responsibilities:Responsible for timely, accurate multi-state, full-cycle payroll processing for assigned lodgesAccountable for importing and balancing timekeeping information and adjustmentsCommunicate with department directors on timekeeping edits and approvals - reviews timesheets on an ongoing basis to ensure timely completion of payroll processingWork closely with lodge Human Resources and Finance teamsResearch and resolve payroll discrepanciesProcess payroll journal entry file, wage attachments, and tax documentsProvide ad hoc reports as requestedAccept cross training duties with payroll teamAssist with preparing and providing information for audits and auditor inquiriesPerform additional duties as assigned by managementProtects organization's value by keeping information confidentialContinuously improve, appropriately document, and effectively follow work processesRequired Qualifications:3+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state environmentDemonstrated ability to execute accurate data entry in a high volume, fast paced and changing environmentStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and integrityStrong customer service mindset and attitudeDemonstrated intermediate Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and desire for advancing the organizationAbility and willingness to work flexible work hours to ensure payroll deadlines are metPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Ultimate Software (UKG/Ultipro)Familiarity with workforce/labor management systemsStrong team-oriented, collaborative mindsetOpen and direct communication styleEstimated Salary Range:$30 - $34/hr (This is an hourly, non-exempt position)An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package.
