Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately diagnose clients' emotional and behavioral disorders.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking their unique needs and goals into account.

• Facilitate individual, couple, and group counseling sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Implement and teach clients effective coping mechanisms as well as self-care strategies to help manage their challenges.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

• Work closely with a full spectrum of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for your clients.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client treatment plans, progress notes, and billing documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our LPCs serve a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to adults dealing with a spectrum of emotional disturbances. You will work with clients facing various issues including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. The ability to connect with individuals from different backgrounds and experiences is essential in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current State Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
