Special Projects Project Manager

Continuum Services – Mobile Trade Services is looking for a Special Projects Project Manager to join our growing team in Southfield, Michigan. Solve problems. Manage projects. Make an impact.

This isn't your typical construction project management role. We specialize in the projects that others often pass on—facility upgrades, emergency repairs, municipal improvements, infrastructure projects, historical building relocations, paving projects, and more. Our work is fast-paced, varied, and highly rewarding.

What You'll Do

• Manage multiple projects from award through completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress
• Work directly with municipalities, public agencies, and commercial clients
• Identify challenges early and develop practical solutions
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget

What We're Looking For

• Project management experience in construction, facilities, municipal, maintenance, or specialty contracting environments
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and moving parts simultaneously
• Construction knowledge with an understanding of various building trades
• Positive attitude, strong follow-through, and a willingness to do what it takes to deliver successful outcomes
• Experience working with municipalities or public-sector clients is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years Project Management
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling software
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Willingness to travel occasionally throughout Michigan
