Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Analyst Level 3 to support financial operations and expense management for the HR Security organization. This role will focus on budgeting, forecasting, Accounts Payable/invoice processing, expense tracking, financial analysis, and variance analysis .

The ideal candidate will have a strong finance/accounting background, solid Excel skills, and experience managing expenses and invoices against budgets and forecasts. Security industry experience is not required ; the candidate should be comfortable learning the business and security programs.
Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and track security-related expenses within the HR P&L .
2. Monitor actual spending against budget and forecast and identify variances.
3. Support budget planning and forecasting , including preparation for future fiscal-year budgets.
4. Process invoices, approval forms, and payment-related documentation .
5. Ensure invoices and financial requests are properly reviewed and approved.
6. Conduct year-over-year spend analysis and evaluate current and projected expenses.
7. Analyze spending to identify savings, over/under budget conditions, and root causes of variances .
8. Prepare financial analysis required for program and expense approvals .
9. Work closely with Finance/BM, HR, and Security stakeholders to ensure accurate expense tracking and financial planning.
10. Track expenses throughout the year and provide visibility into actual vs. planned spending .
11. Support programs from the initial approval stage through invoice processing, ongoing expense management, and contract renewal .
12. Assist with vendor setup or related financial processes when needed.
13. Review and track contracts and financial commitments as they are renewed.
14. Develop a strong understanding of assigned security programs and their financial impact.
15. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively communicate issues, risks, and financial variances.
16. Use Excel and available tools to analyze and manage financial information efficiently.
17. Remain open to learning new technologies, processes, and AI-enabled tools.

Required Qualifications

1. Finance, accounting, financial analysis, or related experience.
2. Experience with Accounts Payable and/or invoice processing .
3. Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
4. Experience with budgeting and forecasting .
5. Understanding of accruals and expense management .
6. Experience with variance analysis and spend tracking .
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to take ownership of assigned financial activities.
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
11. Ability to work effectively with Finance, HR, and business stakeholders .

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience managing G&A or operating expenses .
2. Experience tracking expenses against budgets and forecasts.
3. Experience with year-over-year financial analysis .
4. Experience supporting contracts, renewals, or financial approvals.
5. Experience working with cross-functional business teams.
6. Ability and willingness to learn security-related programs and expenses .
7. Experience using AI or other tools to improve financial processes.

Note: Prior security-industry experience is not required . Candidates with strong finance, AP, expense management, budgeting, and Excel experience can learn the security-specific aspects of the role.
Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
