Accounting ClerkThis position is hybrid out of Mesa, Arizona.The Accounting Clerk will support the Finance team with various accounting projects and tasks as assigned. In addition, the Accounting Clerk will help ensure records are consistent with all submitted financial statements.Essential Job FunctionsProvide timely case resolution regarding payment discrepanciesMaintain clear, concise and usable documentation of activitySupport and assist with inquiries from other departments providing timely responses/resolutionBe responsible for monitoring email distribution lists and ensure timely responses are providedRecord banking activity in accounting system as directedShadow other team membersAd hoc projects as assignedALL Acumen employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordinglyMinimum QualificationsMust have relevant experience. A degree in a business-related field is preferred but not requiredProficient with computers and different finance programs including ExcelMust have effective written and verbal communication skills to build strong interpersonal relationshipsHave strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distractionMust have a very high sense of rigor to prevent any form of mistake that may occur in the process of documenting financial informationMust be a team player and motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on a new challengeAbility to work independently and as a team playerCommunication SkillsCommunicate effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating active listening skillsAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form, and able to read and interpret written informationAbility to maintain confidentialityResponsibilities as a Team MemberTakes personal responsibility for actions.
