Senior HR Manager

Pay Grade: 12 Job Summary As Senior HR Manager, you will support the Human Resources function to meet the needs of the business and associates. Your primary responsibilities include associate relations, HR training, legal compliance, policy development, engagement survey follow-up, performance monitoring, hiring non‑exempt associates, and bonus administration data management. Key Responsibilities Ensure consistent application of all company HR policies. Coach associates and management on complex issues and provide guidance on disciplinary actions; assist with on‑site investigations. Oversee MyOpportunity for hourly recruitment and onboarding. Coordinate and maintain associate recognition programs. Maintain compliance with all federal and state laws. Generate and review HR activity reports. Support internal customer survey and associate engagement survey analysis. Attend department manager meetings to increase HR visibility, conduct classroom training, and implement HR initiatives. Review pay‑increase and status‑change requests to ensure equity and consistency; process status‑change forms. Prepare, coordinate, and present HR topics and training. Lead diversity initiatives, including recruiting, retention, and promotion goals. Assist in developing Personal Development Plans for associates. Participate in the Annual Performance Appraisal process. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field required; Master’s preferred. PHR or SPHR designation strongly preferred. At least three years of generalist HR experience; management experience a plus. Experience in a large, multi‑unit organization required. Prior experience in a centralized, corporate HR environment. Intermediary Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; advanced skills preferred. Experience responding to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or business partners. Strong presentation skills required. Training certification (e.g., Zenger‑Miller, Stephen Covey) is a plus.
