Laboratory Technician

Our client, laboratory and quality testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Optically Clear Adhesives lab team supporting research, development, and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid organizational skills, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks with little or no supervision.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN (100% Onsite)

Pay Range: $19 to $22 on w-2 (depending upon experience)

Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

• Prepare materials and organize for product testing to support lab experiments and quality control needs.

• Assist in laboratory experiments by testing and evaluating new materials and products based on research.

• Perform mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

• Conduct hands-on tests using multiple pieces of equipment and make visual observations on product samples when needed.

• Move, arrange, sort, and hang product testing weights (2 lbs–20 lbs) while maintaining safe, accurate handling practices.

What's Needed?

• Able to work 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday .

• Ability to lift/carry at least 25 pounds .

• Ability to lift/carry 5-pound weights at high repetitions .

• Ability to use a ladder/step stool to work from an elevated surface.

• Proficient hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
