Responsibilities
• Process all incoming work items, creating and assigning activities for completion.
• Review and submit completed new account applications and/or fund transfer requests.
• Internal system data entry, maintenance, and document processing.
• Managing client information to ensure that electronic and paper files are complete, organized, and secure.
• Documenting progress and completed tasks in our CRM (customer relationship management software) – Redtail – with satisfactory detail so that the status can be easily understood by other members of the team.
• Act as a liaison with financial institutions, such as broker dealers, custodian institutions, mutual fund companies, money managers and insurance companies.
• Saving client meeting documents after client meetings.
• Research and resolve problems/issues for Financial Advisors.
• Follow-up on submitted paperwork to verify completion.
• Data entry of basic information into e-Money for new client financial plans.
• Various other duties as necessary to assist in accomplishing department goals.
Qualifications
• 5 years of experience working for a financial advisor/broker dealer or life insurance office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Must be a team player focused on client service.
• Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
• Solid computer skills, including internet-based programs, experience with Microsoft office, especially excel spreadsheets.
• Financial or insurance licenses a plus.
• Successful background check by FINRA.
