AP/Staff Accountant- Fast Track To Accounting Manager Role
Our client located in the Norcross/Doraville area is looking to hire an AP/Staff Accountant who can come in and grow within the organization. Duties will include the following:
- Maintaining all accounting functions including the daily processing and payment of vendor invoices
- Daily receipt and posting of cash received
- Set up new projects
- Maintaining accounting software integrity
- Monthly billing
- Monthly general ledger closings
- Assisting the Accounting Manager as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
- 2 years' experience in accounting
- Familiar with general accounting concepts, practices & procedures; GAAP Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Excel (Deltek strongly preferred)
Base salary 50k-60k with tremendous growth potential.
