Product Support Engineer

Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr Role: Maintenance Product Support Analysis Engineer Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering. Experience with any of the following: Radar, Computer (Mission), Communication Navigation, Power Plant, Avionics, Hydraulics, or Electrical & Environmental systems. 1-2 years of experience reading and interpreting aircraft engineering drawings and/or process specifications. 1-2 years of experience with aircraft technical manuals, task relationships, and familiarity with Technical Orders and/or Technical Order System requirements or equivalent. Understanding and interpretation of engineering data with previous experience using Technical Orders to maintain military aircraft. Responsibilities Analyze complex engineering designs and modifications to determine maintenance and repair needs, procedures, and instructions. Influence product designs and processes to ensure they are supportable and maintainable. Develop and utilize fault isolation procedures and techniques. Create system theory descriptions to ensure a common understanding of systems and components. Conduct engineering analyses to verify the accuracy of maintenance and repair data. Develop and support the creation and review of logistics support documentation, including Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Product Support Analysis Plans (PSAP), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), support equipment recommendation data (SERD), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and other logistics supportability analysis (LSA) documents. Provide technical solutions to customers and evaluate their maintenance operations. Develop procedures and techniques to enable users to maintain and repair products by collaborating closely with program management and engineering teams to accomplish tasks.
