Chief Advancement Officer

The client seeks a Chief Advancement Officer who will serve as the senior philanthropic leader and a key member of the executive leadership team. The role provides strategic leadership for contributed revenue, including annual giving, major and principal gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, and special events. The Chief Advancement Officer will foster a culture of philanthropy and work to inspire transformational giving across the organization. The Chief Advancement Officer will lead the organization’s comprehensive advancement campaign, serving as the driving force behind fundraising strategy and execution for campaign efforts. In close partnership with the President and CEO, Board of Directors, campaign leadership, and dedicated volunteers, the role will deepen relationships with major donors and prospects and help secure resources intended to shape the organization’s future. Success in this position requires building trusted relationships through effective, respectful engagement and maintaining discretion in all advancement activities. The ideal candidate is expected to bring a strong fundraising leadership orientation with a demonstrated ability to guide complex contributed revenue programs and cultivate meaningful donor connections.
