Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. What you will get to do:The selected engineer will be supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability.Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design.Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration).Self-driven, able to tackle challenges, solve problems with minimal oversight and make recommendations for solutions/process improvement to leadershipStrong written and verbal communication skillsBasic Qualifications:Systems Engineer (Level 2):Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with master’s degree.Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher at the time of application. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need1 year of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech SE Fundamentals)1 year of experience with Model-Based Engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech MBSE)1 year of experience with one or more of the following: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems/processes, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development (e.g. Sentinel, Minute Man III, B-2, B-21 delivery systems)Principal Systems Engineer (Level 3):Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience, 3 years of related experience with master’s degree, or 1 year of related experience with PhD.Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher at the time of application. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.   #SentinelSystemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
