Commodity Manager

Materials Management Lead Reports directly to the Senior Director ISC Project Management and works from Houston, Rosemont, or Shreveport on a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities Serve as a primary business and process translator for Project Helix, converting operational and planning requirements into standardized, scalable SAP S4 HANA solutions. Provide inventory management and planning expertise to guide system design decisions, exception handling, and execution models across global PT operations. Lead the configuration and validation of inventory requirements supporting process designs in close partnership with ISC manufacturing planning and production stakeholders. Drive process simplification and global standardization, ensuring alignment with the Honeywell operating model. Collaborate with process owners, functional leads, and IT to gather requirements, assess gaps, and implement system enhancements. Validate user stories and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure data accuracy, process integrity, and realization of defined business outcomes. Proactively identify gaps, recommend mitigation strategies, and communicate project risks and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment. Strong SAP ERP knowledge in a manufacturing environment. Expertise in inventory management systems and material planning processes. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Broad knowledge of materials management, operations, inventory management, procurement logistics, and manufacturing. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize material flow. Strong verbal and written English communication skills for effective stakeholder management. We Value Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent. Experience with S4 HANA. Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to achieve business objectives. Six Sigma Certification.
