Athletic Trainer

Job Overview Job Title: Athletic Trainer at Maria Parham Health, part of Lifepoint Health. This position supports Warren County High School, a 2A school with roughly 10 sports. Job Type Fulltime, exempt Job Schedule Days, variable schedule aligns with programs supported. Responsibilities Implement treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician. Prepare athletes/patients for practice or competition. Evaluate and manage injuries and determine whether a referral is necessary; maintain a medical file for each athlete/patient and act as a liaison between the physician and the athletes/patients. Develop conditioning programs for injured and non‑injured athletes/patients. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an applied discipline required. Active Athletic Training certification/ BOC certified and state certification or registration required. Basic Life Support (BLS), American Health Association required within 30 days of hire. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
