This full-time remote position plays a pivotal role in providing specialized support and therapeutic interventions to individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining high standards of clinical care via telehealth. Our supportive virtual workspace encourages collaboration among team members, offering an engaging atmosphere where ideas and techniques can be shared freely. While the primary working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some evening and weekend shifts may be required on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate healing and progress in clients.

• Provide psychoeducation and resources to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-management strategies.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress meticulously, making informed adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care, promoting holistic client well-being.

• Stay informed of current research and developments related to mood disorder treatment, ensuring the application of best practices in therapy.

• Maintain thorough and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to bolster professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in treatment practices.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, working to reduce stigma associated with mood disorders and promoting awareness throughout the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work with a broad spectrum of clients experiencing challenges primarily related to mood disorders. This includes individuals coping with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and related co-occurring issues. Our approach emphasizes compassionate, individualized care that respects the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania, complying with all state regulations regarding mental health practice.

• Minimum two years of post-licensure experience focused on mood disorders, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic techniques and client care.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Solid knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals as part of a comprehensive care team.

• Exceptional communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, reflective of your skills and experience.
