What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care within a value-based, population health-focused clinic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, and community partners.
• Supervise and mentor Internal Medicine residents in clinical and educational settings.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, striving to improve patient outcomes and reduce disparities.
• Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care emphasizing health equity.
• Engage in teaching activities such as journal clubs, lectures, case conferences, and resident workshops.
• Support operational improvements and clinical standards aligned with accreditation and organizational priorities.
• Use risk stratification, care coordination, and population health tools to optimize patient management.

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Medical License for Texas
• Experience in Internal Medicine Practice
• Commitment to health equity and value-based care principles
• Strong communication and teaching skills

Preferred:

• Prior teaching or mentoring experience with residents
• Experience in health disparities and community-engaged medicine
