A real estate investment firm is seeking a Junior Accountant for an entry-level opportunity within its accounting department. This role offers broad accounting exposure, experience with emerging AI technology, and the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and advance quickly within the department.
Responsibilities
- Support the daily accounts payable function.
- Review, code, and process invoices.
- Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.
- Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Lead in learning and implementing the firm’s new AI-powered AP automation platform.
- Help integrate the platform into the department’s accounting processes.
- Assist with reconciliations, month-end activities, and other accounting assignments.
- Assume additional accounting responsibilities as experience develops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to two years of accounting experience.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable.
- Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools for business, research, workflow, or automation.
- Ability to work full-time in Coconut Grove.
